"It is more important to be hot than smart."

So says a high school student in this New York Times article about the pressures felt by high-achieving young women. No, it's not Jacobs High, but maybe it could be. I wonder how female MBA students feel in comparison. Maybe I'll learn something at the WBA conference next week.

Says one of the mothers in the article, "You just hope your child doesn’t have anorexia of the soul."
